Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, after leading the Blues to Champions League win has shortlisted the names of six players he wants the club to sign this summer.
According to
the Daily Telegraph, Tuchel is keen to sign Borussia Monchengladbach’s Jonas
Hofmann this summer transfer window.
Hofmann, 28,
is one of six players that have been added to a shortlist of targets, with
Inter Milan’s Romelu Lukaku, Monaco’s Aurelien Tchouameni, Wolves’ Adama
Traore, West Ham’s Declan Rice and Tottenham’s Harry Kane is also included.
Hofmann was mostly used as a
winger on either flank for Monchengladbach this season.
He scored eight goals and
registered 13 assists in 33 appearances for the Bundesliga club.
Meanwhile, Chelsea owner Roman
Abramovich is keen to support Tuchel this transfer window after the German led
the club to win the Champions League last Saturday.
Tuchel recently told reporters
that he wants to bolster his squad with “two or three” additions in the summer
transfer window.
Tuchel said, “Two or three
could be very, very good.
“It is a constant thing to
never deny change.
“That you always bring new
energy, new guys who question the old beliefs, who challenge everybody in the
training and in matches, so I think it is a good thing.”
