Chelsea will be looking to bolster their attacking line in front of next season, Chelsea’s last summer signings failed to score goals as expected. Frank Lampard spent a lot during the last summer signing, Timo Werner was one of the worst signings in the summer as he failed to deliver goals as expected but made the most goal involvement for Chelsea in all competitions.
Initially,
Romelu Lukaku was Chelsea’s target in the summer, Chelsea’s owner Roman
Abramovich was keen on landing the Inter Milan and Belgian forward at Stamford
Bridge. Reports already came in that Romelu Lukaku will remain at Inter Milan,
the Belgian forward was the Serie A MVP last season. He led his team to their
first league title in years.
Chelsea now
turned their focus to 20 year old Erling Haaland who’s currently doing well at
Borussia Dortmund. Fans had suggested that Erling Haaland needed a more
successful club to push his career to the next level, the likes of Barcelona,
Juventus and Manchester City are pushing to sign the young star. Chelsea badly
have to sign a center forward in the summer transfer window they’ve identified

Chelsea of
course will have to offload players to make way for Erling Haaland, Olivier
Giroud and Tammy Abraham are free to leave in the transfer window. It seems
Thomas Tuchel didn’t include him in his plan for next season. Olivier Giroud
and Tammy Abraham had hard times starting Under Thomas Tuchel compared to their
starts Under Thomas Tuchel. Olivier Giroud was Chelsea’s top scorer in the
Champions League, still he didn’t appear in the starting since the quarter-final.
No doubt Erling
Haaland will be of great addition to Chelsea’s squad, the goal scoring maniac
has made his mark in every club he played in. In just twenty-eight appearances,
Erling Haaland scored twenty-seven goals for Dortmund with eight assists.
Erling Haaland also became the UEFA Champions League top scorer with ten goals.
