England will return to action tonight as they take on Great British rivals Scotland at Wembley in their second Euro 2020 group game.
The Three Lions can guarantee qualifications to the knockout
stages with a victory but the Scots are bound to make life difficult for Gareth
Southgate’s side in what is set to be a spicy affair.
Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has declared himself
fit for the match and will be hoping to be named in the starting XI.
“I feel good, I’ve been training now,” Maguire said.
“Obviously the injury was a setback club football wise.
Internationally I wanted to come into this with a lot of games under my belt
with full fitness, but I feel good. I’m back available, been training and I’m
looking forward to it.”
Elsewhere, United have made a £50million attempt to sign
Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane but the Spanish club is holding out for
£80million.
