Reggae-Dancehall genre is definitely one of the genres doing well and putting some African Countries on the map, Ghana is no exception.
The genre has a lot of Performers trying hard to unearth
their talents, BABAOO is apparently one of them.
Ibrahim Yakubu known in Music as “BABAOO” is a fast-rising
Reggae Dancehall act ready to take over the Genre sooner than later.
The Kwashieman based Singer has over 40 songs to his credit,
Star kid as others call him sees African Dancehall King, Shatta wale as
his role model and his idol.
Despite confiding in the Reggae Dancehall as his identity, he is Versatile and has the ability to ride on other genres like Afrobeat.
Recently, the king of African
Dancehall, Shatta wale, endorsed him and that was a blessing to the young act
as he celebrates it.
