Reports coming out today states that Chelsea are interested in the signature of Arsenal captain and forward Pierre Emierre Aubameyang.
The Gabonese International have
been phenomenal for the gunners since he moved to North London at the start of
2018. He has won the golden boot with Arsenal and he seems to be one of their
most important player lately.
Although last
season wasn’t really a good one for Arsenal, Mikel Arteta’s men still feel and
know how important Aubameyang is to them.
Chelsea are in
desperate search of a new striker since summer signing Timo Werner have failed
to live up to expectations at the bridge so far.
According to the Telegraph, the
blues have seen Aubameyang as a nice choice and they would want to reunite him
with his former manager Thomas Tuchel.
Aubameyang and Tuchel worked
together as player and manager when they were still at German club Borrussia
Dortmund, before the Gabonese moved to North London in 2018.
