Erling Haaland has been Chelsea’s main priority but with things turning hard, Blues are now considering other options
Chelsea
have already began considering chances of going for alternative strikers after
seeing Dortmund refuse to let them land Erling Haaland.
The
21-year-old has also been the name at the top of the list but with the recent
developments over the weeks, Robert Lewandowski and Stuttgart’s Sasa have also
been added to the list.
Although Chelsea had also inquired about Romelu
Lukaku and Harry Kane but both Inter Milan and Tottenham have turned down their
offers.
Following an interview held with Chelsea transfer
target, Erling Haaland, it appears one of Chelsea’s alternative target is a
striker he admirers so much.
Haaland
in an interview praised Lewandowski’s scoring prowess as the Bayern Munich
striker’s agent already disclosed his client wants to leave the club.
“Robert
Lewandowski is crazy,” Haaland said. “It’s just crazy. When I score a goal I
always think ‘one goal closer to him’ and then he just scores a hat-trick
again, like it’s the most normal thing in the world.
“What he
does is crazy. He’s crazy. I can learn a lot from him.
“First of
all he is technically very strong and also in-game building.”
Chelsea
are weighing up a bid around €50m for the Polish who netted 48 goals in 40 games
for his club side last season.
