Chelsea are in advanced talks & leading the race to sign Sevilla defender Jules Kunde who us currently valued at £60 Million by transfer Market. Kounde is keen on a move to Stamford Bridge this summer after reportedly meeting & having talks with Chelsea Director Marina & Manager Thomas Tuchel according to Daily Mail.
Sevilla want
straight cash for Kounde but Chelsea offered player plus cash deal which was
turned down by the Spanish giants according to reports in Spain.
Thomas Tuchel
is keen on adding a new centre-back to his squad & Kounde is on top of his
list with Kurt Zouma being allowed to leave this summer. Sevilla signed Kounde
at £20 Million in 2019 from Bordeux & has helped them qualify to the UEFA
Champions League & Win the UEFA Europa League 2020 title.
Manchester
United opted for Real Madrid centre-back Raphael Varane after longtime link
with Jules Kounde since last summer.
Kounde was on
top of Manchester United transfer list this summer after rejecting Tottenham
Hotspurs offer but Chelsea hijacked the deal which is at advanced stages.
