The summer transfer window has been officially closed and many clubs did extremely well on the transfer deadline day including Chelsea.
Chelsea have announced
that Ethan Ampadu has signed a new three-year deal and will leave the club
on loan.
The
20-year-old has signed a loan deal with Serie A club Venezia for the 2021/2022
season.
It’s the 20-year-third old’s
loan spell, after stints with Sheffield United and RB Leipzig in the English
and German top divisions.
Ampadu joined Chelsea from
Exeter City in 2017 and made his Carabao Cup debut in September of the same
year.
In his Blues career, he has
made 12 appearances, seven of which have been starts, most recently on three
occasions during our victorious Europa League campaign in 2018/19.
