Breaking News On Jorginho And Timo Werner Ahead Juventus Vs Chelsea

The defeat to Manchester City will still be stinging for many but we do not have long to wait until the Blues have a chance to put things right in Europe.

Thomas Tuchel takes his side to Italy to face Juventus in the second game of their Champions League defence in what will surely be the toughest match of their group.

A 1-0 victory against Zenit St. Petersburg at Stamford Bridge got their defence off to a perfect start with Romelu Lukaku popping up at the right time to head home the winning goal.

Upon the striker’s return to Italy, the west Londoners will be hoping he can recapture the excellent form that helped Inter Milan to their first Serie A title in 10 years last season.

But there will be plenty else going on today, including Tuchel’s press conference and undoubtedly more news and rumours away from the pitch too.

So sit back and let us keep you up to date with everything going on around the Bridge today.

Jorginho

Jorginho: Sarri comments bothered me
Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has admitted that it bothered him when people said he only earned a move to Stamford Bridge because of his ties with then manager Maurizio Sarri.

“The thing that bothered me the most was to hear that I arrived here because of Sarri,” the Italy midfielder told BT Sport. “That without him I would never be here.”

“That I didn’t deserve to be at this club because I wasn’t’ good enough. It’s not correct, I have my value.”
