Trevoh Chalobah has successfully signed a new four-and-a-half-year contract extension deal until 2026 with Chelsea following his impressive performances in the Premier League and Champions League this season.
Chalobah teammates celebrated with him after the contract extension deal was successful in the training ground in preparation ahead of premier league game against Burnley at the Stamford Bridge on Saturday, November 6.
The 22-year-Old has featured for Chelsea 10 times under
Tuchel this season, scoring his debut goal with a stunner against Crystal
Palace at Stamford Bridge. Since then, he has been involved against Aston
villa, Southampton of which he scored in, Brentford, Norwich City and a
Champions League debut against Juventus in September. Chalobah has become a
very vital and influential member of the Chelsea defence and Tuchel squad as a
whole.
According to Chelsea’s report, him
signing a new deal with the blues feels “surreal” and indeed it is. It’s not
every day that a 22-year-old gets to win the Uefa Super Cup on his senior
debut.
Chalobah: “It’s a dream for me to sign a new long-term
contract for my boyhood club and hopefully the dream continues.”
