Chelsea fans are quite happy that things are currently falling in place for them in their run for the Premier League title, the blues are currently top of the table as they head into the international break.

During the match week 11, Chelsea dropped points to Burnley after creating most of the chances in the match. A lot of fans were not comfortable with the draw as they feel Liverpool will capitalise on their laxity but the case was different as Jurgen Klopp men saw their first loss of the season against West Ham.

In 2015 and 2017, Chelsea won the league under Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho as head coaches but have failed to get hold of the trophy since then. With the arrival it Thomas Tuchel, a lot of fans raised their hopes as they see the 2021/2022 season as one in which they can challenge Manchester City and Liverpool for the title.

Two similar events that happened in 2015 and 2017 reoccurred in match week 11 which might be a sign that the blues will come out at the top of the table at the end of the season.

Let’s take a look at those two events;

In the 2014/2015 season, West Ham beat Liverpool at home and scored three goals against them, Chelsea went ahead to win the title that season. It happened that Liverpool lost to West Ham in match week 11 and a lot of Chelsea fans would be hoping to win the league this following the reoccurrence.

The second similar event is their draw against Burnley, the draw might be a blessing in disguise for Chelsea fans. The last time Chelsea won the Premier League title, they ended with a draw against Burnley at home.
