Real Madrid winger, Eden Hazard has been reportedly ready to move to the English Premier League side in a shocking move to Chelsea’s rivals.
Former Arsenal player, Jack
Wilshere revealed that former Real Madrid player, Eden Hazard could be heading
to Newcastle United.
The former
player is backing Hazard to join Newcastle United, adding that the Real
Madrid flop would love working under new Magpies manager Eddie Howe.
The Belgian has endured a
difficult spell in Spain since moving to Real Madrid in 2019 for a fee in
excess of £100m.
Hazard has only scored five
goals in 54 appearances for the capital city side and fell down the pecking
order while Zinedine Zidane was still in charge.
The Belgium national team
captain has now been linked with a return to the English Premier League, with
Newcastle United said to be interested in securing his signature after their
Saudi-backed takeover.
Wilshere told
talkSPORT, “Eden Hazard is another level, but I think Eden would love playing
for a manager like Eddie Howe [at Newcastle]. He’s the type of manager you want
to play for”.
