CHELSEA will be very busy during the January transfer window as some players have already linked with joining the Stamford Bridge outfit.
The Blues manager, Thomas Tuchel is keen to
maintain a quality midfield following Jorge Luiz Frello Filho [Jorginho] and
N’Golo Kanté’s contract terms, which are due in 2023. Although new contracts
are underway, Jorginho is allegedly poised for a return to the Italian side.
Federico Valverde has fallen down the pecking
order of Carlo Ancelotti, who is believed to use Toni Kroos, Casemiro, and Luka
Modric. The European champions have discovered his whereabouts at Real Madrid
and are reportedly prepared to break through and sign the 23-year-old Uruguayan
midfielder.
At the same time, Marina Granovskaia and
Roman Abramovich are set to launch a big-money move (above £60m) to lure the
Uruguayan from the Bernabeu during the summer. Federico is set to depart the
club as soon as Luka Modric pens a new contract with the Laliga Giants.
The star player is believed to be an
ideal player for the West Londoners amid Kante’s injuries.
