Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich has given his latest updates as he announced his intention to sell the club for the benefit of the club, fans, employees and the sponsors.
Some people believed that he is forced to sell the club as a
result of the possible sanctions that would be played on him due to his
relationship with the Russian government. But he has disclosed that he is not
selling because of himself but for the club’s interest. The net proceeds will
go for the victims of Ukrainian war and his £1.5b loan to the club will not be
repaid as he announced to Chelsea’s family.
In another sports news, Chelsea have signed West Brom’s under
16 star, Leo Cardoso. He plays the number 10 role. Leo Cardoso have played for
both the England and Portugal under 16. This is indeed a huge signing for
Cobham.
In reaction to the ongoing unrest, Ukrainian
footballer Yaroslav Rakitskiy has terminated his contract with Zenit St
Petersburg with immediate effect, due to the ongoing crisis between the Russian
and Ukrainian government, after the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian forces.
