Beyonce has dropped the cover art for her upcoming album Renaissance – and it’s wild and causing a mega commotion online.
The Queen Bey jumped
on Instagram a few hours ago to reveal the cover art for her upcoming 7th
studio album.
Beyonce is seated half n*ked on a silver horse in the eerie
photo, set against a mostly black backdrop.
She added a
message to the photo, writing: “act i RENAISSANCE 7.29 Creating this
album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for
the world.
“It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when
little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place
without judgment.“
Beyonce added: “A place to be free of perfectionism and
overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful
journey of exploration. I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires
you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and s*xy as you
are,”
Renaissance is set for release on July 29th, 2022.
Only one song from the project has been released so far – the
inspirational club banger Break My Soul.
Renaissance, stylised Act I: Renaissance, is clearly one of the
most anticipated albums of all time, and via its cover art – it’s definitely
going to live up to the billing.
Long live the Queen!
