In the world of Ghanaian music, there are a few names that hold as much weight and influence as Stonebwoy and Shatta wale.
These two heavyweights have dominated the music scene with their infectious beats and powerful lyrics and their rivalry has been the stuff of legends.
In the past, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale have not seen eye to eye, a situation which led to an almost bloody clash at the 2019 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Although the two seemingly made up after the altercation, there have been silent jabs from time to time from the two camps leaving fans wondering if they’re ever going to make peace and collaborate on a song.

In a surprising turn of events, Stonebwoy recently revealed that a future collaboration with Shatta Wale is not out of the question.
Speaking in an interview with King Lagazee on the Yaad Settingz show on Asaase radio, the ‘ Sobolo’ hitmaker expressed his openness to working with Shatta wale on a song.

Stonebwoy jokingly opined that, the ‘Kakai’ crooner does not invest in shooting quality videos, “so that collaboration nu, we go fight for like one hour before it will happen.”
But you know everything happens with time and I don’t want to sound political. As I sit here, I believe in a clean heart and I know that as powerhouses as the two of us are, we can shake the ground and I hope and pray that it doesn’t become too late or it doesn’t become too early,” he noted.
